The Canadian government added the Proud Boys  extremist group with ties to white nationalism, to the list of terrorist organizations to its country.

 

Only if the member of the group works to engage in a violent act with a fake terrorism charges. Being a member of the organization will not mean they will be charged with a crime

The new Democratic Party Jagmeet Singh urged Canadians to “keep the pressure on” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the federal government to formally add the group to the list of terrorist organizations Other extremist terrorism groups includes Boko Haram, the Taliban and Al Qaeda.

 

The announcement comes a little more than a week after Canada’s House of Commons unanimously passed a motion calling for the government “use all available tools to address the proliferation of white supremacists and NEO – Nazi hate groups starting with designating the Proud Boys as a terrorist entity,” Global News reported.
