Celebrity Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and quarterback Patrick Mahomes have been teammates and friends for years. They have also partnered with businesses. Now, they are adding a new one to their already successful food and beverage companies. Kelce and Mahomes are opening a steakhouse in Kansas City, and web fans are thrilled. The upscale restaurant is a collaboration with a popular hospitality group.
The Chiefs’ arguably most popular player announced that a new steakhouse called 1587 Prime will open in early 2025. Located inside Lowes Kansas City, a downtown hotel, the steakhouse will be built in collaboration with Noble 33, a hospitality group based in Las Vegas.
Using their jersey numbers 15 and 87 to name the steakhouse is a beautiful way the famous Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce duo are honoring their NFL team, the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs recently won their third Super Bowl over the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Patrick Mahomes released a statement that said, “Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities, so it only made sense to bring something unique to our community in Kansas City.
Tosh Berman, co-founder of Nobel 33, said that the hospitality group has been “leading the development of the design, experience, menu, and operation, but conceptually, Patrick and Travis’ involvement and input have been instrumental.”
The steakhouse is expected to have several private dining rooms. These would be ideal for Mahomes, Kelce, and teammates to seek privacy away from the spotlight when necessary. Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, is a famous influencer with a vast web fan base, while Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, is currently the most popular global pop star.
The steakhouse will also have a meat display and a giant chef’s kitchen. As yet, there is no information about the restaurant’s availability of corn dogs. The restaurant will honor the Chiefs with its 1587 Prime name and display on-field achievements by Patrick and Travis.
