Celebrity Kanye West is seeing several changes in his political team, although he has not officially announced a 2024 presidential campaign. Ye, as the rapper is now known, has received a letter of resignation from Patrick Krason, who has been his treasurer since December. Krason also sent a letter to the Federal Election Commission that stated that he had officially resigned on Monday.
Krason said that he has informed the higher-ups that they have to “name a treasurer within 10 days” and that he has told the team that they cannot spend or raise funds until they appoint a new treasurer

POLITICO obtained a letter that was addressed to Ye. The letter said Krason was resigning before being terminated by Milo. He also said that he came to know about a “potentially serious criminal transaction” that took place in Kanye’s 2020 campaign.
The letter stated that Milo Yiannopoulos had “submitted falsified invoices and for expenditures that would be deemed unlawful” in November 2022. Krason said that these transactions had taken place before he joined Kanye’s campaign as treasurer. He also said there was a lot of “personal animosity” that prevented a professional relationship with political director Milo Yiannopoulos.
When contacted over the phone Krason told the outlet that he had left Kanye’s campaign due to staff changes as well as his concerns about Yiannopoulos that were detailed in his letter.
Last week, Ye reappointed Milo Yiannopoulos as his political director. Milo fired Nick Fuentes, who was considered as the right-hand man of the rapper and Ali Alexander who was one of his political advisors. Patrick Krason resigned on Monday. Earlier, Milo had told TMZ that they were “Cleaning house and professionalizing Ye’s political team.”

POLITICO also contacted Yiannopoulos who said that there was no wrongdoing in the 2020 Kanye West campaign. The outlet also said that Milo said that he wasn’t going to “give any credence” to these claims and even suggested that they could be a “venomous” attempt by Krason as he left the campaign.
Ye has not responded when contacted by the outlet.
According to site HipHopdx Kanye allegedly told filmmaker Adam Camacho that he wanted “to be left alone.” Camacho has been hired to document Ye’s presidential campaign. Kanye reportedly told him him that he wanted to concentrate on The Donda Academy, his new wife and his kids with ex-wife celebrity Kim Kardashian, who filed for divorce, and obtained it months ago.
