Celebrity artistic gymnast Simone Biles married celebrity football safety Jonathan Owens on the beach in Mexico on May 6. Simone and Jonathan had a near meeting during a Texans game in 2019, but they first connected in March 2020 through a dating app, with Biles making the first move. Simone wore a stunning tiered white gown for the momentous occasion, and Jonathan rocked a tan suit.
Aly Raisman, Simone’s former Olympic colleague, attended the festivities. After the wedding weekend, Aly posted some pictures of the girls’ enjoyment on social media. In addition to the wedding itself, the besties were able to relax in the sun at the resort where the ceremony took place. Aly wore a green one-piece with high-waisted daisy dukes, while Simone sported a black and brown one-piece swimsuit with a matching hat. The wedding and festivities looked beautiful from what we could tell from the photos.

“Such a fun weekend,” Aly wrote. She also shared images from Simone’s wedding night, such as a picture of them holding hands and catching up throughout the reception. Aly looked lovely in a strapless purple tiny dress with a high ponytail, while Simone looked stunning in her translucent bridal gown.

Marriages can be stressful, but it appears like Simone and Jonathan were able to make everything turn out nicely for them. The pair first wed in a small ceremony with just a few guests in the United States. Then, in Mexico, they held their significant ceremony. Simone experienced the stress and heat of her wedding, but happily, her confidence ultimately prevailed.
