Celebrity actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas opened up about parenting the kid she and her celebrity husband, Nick Jonas, have together. The Citadel star seems to be so fiercely protective of her daughter Malti Marie, that she has some reservations about how she will discipline the little child.
The couple welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie, via surrogacy. Although they were delighted to take on the role of parents, their daughter spent the first 100 days of her life in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). She was finally allowed to leave the facility in time for Mother’s Day in 2022. Malti has been showered with her parent’s love and attention ever since her.

In a recent interview, for the May 2023 issue of ELLE magazine the Quantico actress acknowledged that, despite her worries about the future, she only has one hope for her daughter. Priyanka recalled how her daughter’s incredibly early birth put her “so close” to losing her. She discussed how she feared the worst when the kid was born but is glad to now have a happy and healthy toddler.

Priyanka revealed that her baby doll had to be delivered a trimester earlier than her due date, and she required immediate care. She continued by saying that a large part of her concern originates from her own life experience and that she is scared of how she can “ever discipline” her little munchkin in the future. Malti has Priyanka “wrapped around her finger,” the actress acknowledged. She said that she was so “close to losing her so many times” that now the toddler “can get away with anything,” as she wants to see her happy.
The Bollywood diva also said that Malti is already a “super smiley, happy baby” and that she was not ready for how fiercely she would defend her and how profoundly she would love Malti. She said she now understands her mother’s reactions.

Additionally, it appears that the celebrity couple Jonas and her husband both concur that getting a nanny is not something they want to do. The actress chose to spend her time with family and close friends instead, and she intends to continue this with Malti.
