Celebrity rapper PnB Rock was killed around 1.15 p.m. local time, on Monday, at a restaurant in Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). The 30-year old rapper was apparently targeted for the jewelry he was wearing, although the officials have not named a suspect, as yet. The Philadelphia rapper, whose real name is Rakim Allen, was enjoying a meal at a South LA restaurant, when he was fatally shot, multiple times.

The Selfish rapper visited Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles restaurant located on Manchester Boulevard, in Los Angeles. He was eating at a table when he was approached by a suspect, who demanded items from the rapper. The suspect brought forth a weapon and shot Rakim Allen, multiple times. It seems as if the rapper might have refused to part with his jewelry as the suspect reportedly removed some items from the rapper. He had fired multiple shots before entering a vehicle that was lying in wait for him and quickly departed from the scene.

Celebrity rapper PnB Rock was administered aid by a security guard and was quickly taken to a hospital in the area. He was pronounced dead, in a short while after the shooting, at 1.59 p.m.
The guard, who wished to be identified by initials G.T., according to a report in Rolling Stone, said that he rushed to the rapper’s side and did his best to help him. He added that the rapper’s girlfriend handed her phone over to him so he could receive instructions from 911 on how to give the victim first aid.

He also said that the celebrity rapper’s girlfriend didn’t know what to do and was screaming. He mentioned that the robbery took place very quickly and the rapper had multiple chains on him, and some items were taken from him. Rapper PnB became famous after his 2014 mixtape called Real N*gga Bangaz. He introduced his unique melodic flow to the nation with his debut single Fleek. His followup hit Selfish hit number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100.
