Rihanna released a statement to Vogue Business announcing the news that she was stepping down from the role of CEO and Hillary Super would join as CEO this month. She also said that she would assume the role of Executive Chairman of Savage X Fenty.

Rihanna founded Savage X Fenty in 2018. She has partnered with the super luxury brand LVMH. The company is worth over $2 billion according to several estimates and Rihanna reportedly has an estimated 30 percent share in the company.

With the strong backing of LVMH, Rihanna has expanded the brand from online to wholesale to brick and mortar stores. Seven stores have been opened in major cities such as Los Angeles and Las Vegas as well as Houston and Atlanta.
