Salmon with Garlic and Dill Sauce
Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
1/2 cup dry white wine
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
Lemon slices, for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Salmon:

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
Season both sides of the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
Sear the Salmon:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin side down, and sear for 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden brown.

Flip the salmon and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your liking.

Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare the Garlic and Dill Sauce:

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth, white wine, and lemon juice. Stir to combine.
Allow the mixture to simmer and reduce by half, approximately 5-7 minutes.
Finish the Sauce:

Reduce the heat to low and add the butter to the sauce, stirring until melted and well combined.

Stir in the fresh dill and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Serve:

Place the seared salmon fillets back into the skillet, spooning the garlic and dill sauce over the top.

Garnish with lemon slices and additional fresh dill.
