A cheerleading coach who had been accused of indecent exposure and fondling in Florida is now facing allegations of molesting six young athletes, as young as 11 years old, in California, according to authorities. On Monday, 44-year-old Erick Joseph Kristianson from Antioch, Tennessee, was arrested in Fargo, based on a warrant for the alleged molestation incidents. The charges against him include various counts of lewd acts with minors, sexual penetration, and oral copulation.
If convicted on all charges, he could face a maximum sentence of 105 years to life plus additional years. Kristianson has been extradited back to California and is currently held without bail.

The Orange County District Attorney, Todd Spitzer, reportedly said that his Office is committed to ensuring he is held accountable for his actions. It is uncertain if he has obtained legal representation. The District Attorney emphasized the need to stop pedophiles from targeting victims and expressed gratitude for Kristianson’s arrest. It was revealed that he assaulted girls who trusted him as their coach, hiding in plain sight. Kristianson was already out on bail related to previous child molestation charges when he was arrested in Orange County.
The allegations in California surfaced after his arrest in Florida, where he was accused of masturbating on camera in front of children and touching a 13-year-old girl’s private parts. The victims in Florida were also members of his cheer club. One victim in California came forward after learning about Kristianson’s arrest in Florida, stating she was molested by him starting at the age of 14. He is accused of engaging in sexual activity with her until she turned 16.
Kristianson worked as a cheerleading coach at different establishments, including Magic All-Stars Cheer and Trabuco Hills High School. He is accused of molesting several girls during his tenure. Some of the incidents occurred off-campus and at his home. One girl quit cheerleading after being allegedly molested but did not report it at the time. In 2022,

The former coach was arrested in Kansas and later extradited to Florida for exposing himself to teenage girls during an online call. He was released on bond without restrictions. Currently, he is being held at the Theo Lacy Facility in Orange. Authorities suspect there may be additional victims yet to come forward.
