Researchers examined data from 884 prior studies including 883,627 people in the study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. They discovered that synthetic supplements manufactured with the antioxidant beta-carotene were linked to an increased risk of both CVD mortality and all-cause mortality while studying the impacts of numerous supplements such as omega fatty acids, magnesium, zinc, and others.

According to a new study, beta-carotene supplements have been linked to serious and even potentially deadly health problems. Healthy dietary patterns are high in micronutrients, but their impact on the risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) has not been thoroughly studied. Health fans are waiting for more news to come out.

Some, but not all, micronutrient supplements may help cardiometabolic health. The importance of micronutrient variety and the balance of benefits and dangers in promoting and maintaining cardiovascular health in varied populations is highlighted in this study.

When eaten, natural  beta-carotene from meals containing green, orange, and yellow fruits and vegetables is transformed to vitamin A.  Vitamin A is critical for maintaining healthy eyes and skin.

Only supplement when there are deficiencies in your diet, which your doctor can help you find with various tests.
