Kanye West to launch his own social media platform, French Montana says

Kanye West has been in the news for his recent outbursts against ex-wife Kim Kardashian, her boyfriend Pete Davidson and their friends more often than for his music in the recent past. On Tuesday, there was another outburst and Kanye received a one day suspension from social media platform, Instagram where he has been posted these tirades. His friend French Montana recently said that Kanye would be launching his own social media platform.

Kanye was suspended from Instagram on Wednesday, after making a racial slur at news host Trevor Noah. He was suspended in the evening. Noah had supported Kim Kardashian on “The Daily Show” hosted by him and it’s well documented how much Kanye has been harassing the Skims founder and her friends, on the social media platform.

Montana tweeted that they suspended his “dawg Kanye from Instagram and that the rapper would “make his own social media platform.” The Donda rapper also received support from The Game who started a hashtag that read FreeYe. He claimed that Instagram was “picking and choosing content” that violated the platform’s policies.

The Compton rapper said that there was a “whole war” that was taking place in Ukraine and that there were “hate posts surrounding it that add fuel to the fire.” He also mentioned that Africans were “being violated” and were “barred from crossing borders to safety with racist comments/content attached.”

He posted this before defending Kanye’s posts saying that Instagram had “zeroed in” on the rapper’s post about “the protection of his children” and “his fatherhood” and more in the same vein.

However, fans and others have had mixed reactions on his ban. A big group of them feel that it is good that Kanye has finally been banned while another group say he should have been banned a long time ago. He has posted weird memes, violent videos with cartoon character and made up a strange nickname for the KUWTK star’s boyfriend Pete Davidson. Although Kim has been declared legally single by an LA judge, Ye has kept on posting negatively about her and her friends.
