Inter Miami will look to take points in a fifth straight match when they travel to Foxboro, Mass., to face the New England Revolution on Saturday night.

The two teams are 3-3 in six all-time meetings — with the Revs winning the last two matches at Foxboro.

Miami (5-2-3, 18 points) leads the MLS with 22 goals and is coming off a 3-1 win over Nashville SC last weekend. Captain Lionel Messi led the way with two goals and an assist and leads the club with seven goals and six assists.

Miami coach Tata Martino suggested Messi and forward Luis Suarez, who is second on the team with six goals and four assists, would have no issue playing on the artificial turf at Gillette Stadium.

“The players are all available, and those who are healthy will travel. We will see the formation to face the New England Revolution a little later,” Martino said on Friday. “We previously played on artificial turf at Charlotte last year and had no problem.”

Saturday’s match features clubs on either side of the Eastern Conference table. While Miami is at the top, New England is at the bottom, looking to avoid a third straight loss.

The Revs (1-6-1, 4 points) are coming off a 1-0 defeat at Toronto and have not scored in back-to-back games.

“I can live with the performance. I thought that was one of our best performances of the year,” New England coach Caleb Porter said following the Toronto match. “We were the better team. I think the stats would show that as well.”

Midfielder Carles Gil is the team leader with three goals and an assist in eight matches and is the only New England player with more than one goal this season. Midfielder Nacho Gil has one goal and one assist in eight outings.
