Sergio Santos scored in the 93rd minute as visiting FC Cincinnati rallied to win its club-record seventh MLS match in a row, 4-3, at Toronto FC on Saturday night.

Luca Orellano had a brace and Kevin Kelsy also scored for FC Cincinnati (10-2-3, 33 points). Roman Celentano finished with two saves for the defending Supporters’ Shield winners, who improved to an MLS best 6-1-1 on the road.

Lorenzo Insigne and Deybi Flores scored for Toronto FC (7-7-1, 22 points) which also picked up on an own-goal by Cincinnati defender Ian Murphy. Sean Johnson finished with two saves.

Santos, who also had an assist, picked up a drop-pass from Yamil Asad at the left edge of the 6-yard box and then hammered a left-footed shot past Johnson and into the far right corner for the game-winner and his second goal of the season.

Toronto took a 1-0 lead in the 25th minute when Flores snapped a header in the middle of the box off an Insigne corner kick into the bottom left corner of the net for his first goal of the season.

Cincinnati rebounded to take a 2-1 lead early in the second half with two goals in a three-minute span. Orellano got the first at the 53-minute mark when he picked up a loose ball at the top middle of the box and then booted a left-footed shot inside the right post. Kelsy followed with his third goal, putting in a rebound of a Orellano shot.

Toronto tied it, 2-2, in the 63rd minute when Insigne’s sharp-angled shot from the left side of the 6-yard box hit Toronto defender Murphy in the hip and caromed into the goal.

Orellano put Cincinnati back in front, 3-2, in the 79th minute when he took a Santos pass and drilled a left-footed shot inside the far post for his third goal of the season.

Insigne then tied it, 3-3, in the 85th minute with a right-footed penalty kick into the top right corner after Cincinnati defender Miles Robinson pulled down Prince Osei Owusu on the edge of the 6-yard box.

Insigne had a chance to give Toronto the lead in the 89th minute but his long right-footed shot from about 15 yards outside the left side of the box hit the crossbar.
