Erik Karlsson scored the game-winner midway through the third period to go with three assists as the San Jose Sharks rallied from a three-goal deficit to defeat the visiting Dallas Stars 5-3 on Wednesday night.

San Jose goalie James Reimer made 33 saves to pick up his 200th career victory.

The four-point game gave Karlsson 62 points for the season. He became the just the fourth defenseman in NHL history to hit the 60-point mark in 46 or fewer games, joining Bobby Orr, who did it six times, Paul Coffey (five times) and Denis Potvin (two times).

Nick Bonino had a goal and an assist and Timo Meier, Steven Lorentz and Logan Couture also scored goals for San Jose, which snapped a three-game losing streak.

Jason Robertson scored his 30th goal of the season, and Ty Dellandrea and Radek Faksa also scored goals for Dallas, which lost for the third time in four games. Miro Heiskanen added two assists and Jake Oettinger stopped 23 of 27 shots in the loss.

Dellandrea gave Dallas a 1-0 lead at the 6:43 mark of the first period. He snapped a wrist shot from the right faceoff dot past Reimer’s glove side to snap a 15-game goalless drought with his sixth goal of the season.

The Stars scored twice in three minutes early in the second to increase their lead to 3-0. Robertson got the first when he grabbed Colin Miller’s pass into the slot, dropped it and quickly fired a wrist shot into the top right corner of the net. Faksa followed with his fourth goal of the season with a shot that deflected into the net off Meier’s skate.

San Jose rallied to tie it at 3-3 later in the period with three goals in the span of 5:37.

Lorentz started the comeback with his fifth goal of the season, a spinning wrist shot in the slot that went inside the right post.

Bonino followed with his seventh goal when he beat Oettinger on his glove side off a nice pass from behind the net from Alexander Barabanov.

Meier then tied it on a power play with his 26th goal of the season when his crossing pass for Couture caromed into the net off the skate of Stars defenseman Jani Hakanpaa.

Karlsson then gave San Jose its first lead of the game at the 10:41 mark of the third period with a wrist shot from center of the right circle that squeezed past Oettinger’s arm and the right post for his 15th goal of the season.

Dallas pulled Oettinger with 1:53 to go, and Couture sealed the win with an empty-netter, his 16th goal of the season, with 36 seconds to play.
