Kevin Fiala and Drew Doughty each had a power-play goal and an assist and the Los Angeles Kings won 3-2 in a shootout against the visiting Anaheim Ducks on Saturday night.

Adrian Kempe had two assists and David Rittich made 22 saves and stopped two of three attempts in the shootout for the Kings, who improved to 6-2-0 under interim coach Jim Hiller.

Jakob Silfverberg and Sam Carrick scored and John Gibson made 48 saves for the Ducks, who have lost three of four and five of seven.

Pierre-Luc Dubois and Trevor Moore scored in the first two rounds of the shootout before Rittich turned away Alex Killorn in the third round to improve Los Angeles to 2-5 in shootouts this season.

Blake Lizotte was in the penalty box for holding Adam Henrique when Silfverberg received a pass to the side of the net and scored with a wrist shot from the bottom of the left circle to give Anaheim a 1-0 lead at 9:33 of the first period.

The Kings went on their first power play later in the period and Fiala scored with a wrist shot from the middle of the right circle to tie it 1-1 at 15:23.

Los Angeles was on its second power play after Frank Vatrano was called for a double-minor roughing penalty against Brandt Clarke when Carrick scored short-handed.

Henrique poked the puck out of the Anaheim zone to create a two-on-one rush with Carrick. Henrique tried to pass to Carrick but it went off Doughty’s stick, then Carrick got a piece of the puck before it went in the net, moving Anaheim back in front 2-1 at 9:08 of the second.

Henrique was initially credited with the goal before it was switched to Carrick.

The Kings were back on a power play after Killorn was penalized for tripping Dubois and Doughty tied it 2-2 with a wrist shot from the high slot at 14:24 of the second, his 13th goal of the season.
