Today US Congressman Steve Scalise appears to have been shot in the hip in Alexandria, Virginia, according to fellow Congressman Mo Brooks, who witnessed the shooting and called emergency services.
This is a tragic moment for their families, loved ones, and the entire community on Capitol Hill. As we pray for full recoveries, we know we have witnessed again the incredible bravery of the Capitol Police as they put their lives on the lines to keep us safe.
