Police are hunting for these men and have released surveillance video. They have appealed for information about these mystery shooters. Atlanta police said that they had arrived at the location where the boy was shot at about 6.15 p.m. on January 15. The boy, who is 11 years old, was shot multiple times, reportedly by all three gunmen, and had two gunshot wounds. He was alert and conscious. He was taken to an area hospital. Atlanta police described the suspects as “three black males.”

The surveillance video shows a boy looking over his shoulder as he runs across a parking lot near Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive near Interstate 285 in northwest Atlanta. It then shows a divided highway. Three men are seen walking swiftly and then breaking into a run.
These suspects come to a parking lot, where they spot the young boy. Each one of the gunmen pulls out a handgun. They open fire in the young boy’s direction multiple times. The boy had supposedly tried to seek refuge beside a laundromat and tire shop.
A car on the highway appears to swerve away from them, and the gunmen retreat from the scene and dash back across the carriageway.
The three men wore black hoodies, dark trousers, and white shoes.
