X-Men 97, an animated series, was streamed on Disney Plus earlier in May. Episode 10 of the season saw a climactic finale featuring cameos by several Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes (MCU). Episode 10, the final episode of Season 1, saw brief or blink-and-miss cameos by many heroes and villains of the Marvel Cinematic Universe MCU, suggesting bigger roles in future seasons or maybe even animated spinoffs.

X-Men 97 Season Two is expected to explore new plots. It could build on original X-Men storylines. The first season of the latest series of X-Men has left web fans craving more action in the second season.
