Reports say that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were spotted in Montana over the weekend. They were seen at a luxury resort and could have been on a romantic getaway. The Daily Mail said that they have exclusive pictures. The couple have been seen together after 17 years. Sources say that 51-year-old Lopez and 48-year-old Affleck have remained friends despite their breakup in 2004.
The couple have been seen together for the second time in the same week leading to speculation whether the “Bennifer” romance was rekindled. In one of the pictures, taken in an SUV in Montana, both of them looked relaxed as Ben is in the driver’s seat while Jennifer sits next to him.
Way back in 2002, Lopez and Affleck were engaged. Their wedding was to take place in 2003 but got postponed. Instead, they officially announced their split in 2004. They worked together in a couple of movies: Jersey Girl and Gigely. Currently both are single as Jennifer Lopez is no longer with Alex Rodriguez and Affleck is divorced from Jennifer Garner and is currently single.
Affleck has a house near the luxury Big Sky Resort in the Rocky Mountains situated close to the Yellow Stone National Park. He has visited the spot with ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their children. This weekend he took Jennifer Lopez to Montana in a private plane. The couple were spotted embarking from the plane at Los Angeles, standing close together.
Both Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck had also participated in the VAX LIVE: The Concert to Reunite the World that was filmed on May 2 in Los Angeles and was on air on Saturday. Lopez performed a show-stopping number and Affleck was on stage with Jimmy Kimmel, but they did not have pictures together at the concert.
A source told PEOPLE that the getaway had been quick and intense, but Jennifer was happy. Another source said that they have a lot of love for each other and that they have always admired each other. Here’s to Bennifer!
