Cardi B tells Serena Gomez not to leave music but to bring out an edgy album

Cardi B asked Selena Gomez not to retire from music. Instead she asked the star to bring out an album with an edge. The ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper tweeted on Thursday that she was also willing to help Gomez.

In an interview with Vogue, Selena Gomez said that she has considered leaving the music industry. The singer said that there was no point in doing music when people didn’t take her seriously and those were the times that she wondered why she kept doing it.

The ‘Rare’ singer felt that ‘Lose You to Love Me’ was the best song she had released but it wasn’t enough for some. Although she acknowledged with gratitude the many people who appreciated her music and said that it kept her motivated, she also spoke of one more album as her last try, after which she may retire.

The 28-year rapper called Selena a “sweetheart.” She also mentioned how celebrities get picked all the time and that Selena was too sweet to go through this. She also added that Selena could leave the music biz if she wanted but she shouldn’t leave because she was forced to do so.

Gomez is not only a singer but is also a popular star. She is currently acting in a Hulu series Only Murders in the Building. Her costars include Steve Martin and Martin Short. She is also rumored to be the choice to act in the biopic In the Shadow of the Mountain. This is a true story of Silvia Vasquez-Lavado, who is a Peruvian mountaineer and a social entrepreneur.

Though her fourth album may be her last before retirement, she is releasing the third one Revelacion today, March 12. It has seven Spanish songs. Gomez had collaborated with other rappers, singers and DJs in the past.
