When he woke up, he saw that his chin bone had been hanging off his face.
After the accident, the Hairspray actor said that his “masseters just grew” and became very big. He said that his mother had called him to enquire whether he had undergone plastic surgery, as rumors were swirling around. Efron also mentioned working with a physical therapist to stop the growth.
