Celebrity Georgina Rodriguez and her partner footballer Cristiano Ronaldo lost one of their twin children, in April 2022. The couple had quietly mourned the loss of their infant son while emotionally acknowledging with gratitude the survival of his twin sister. The model partner of the popular Manchester United footballer had appeared in a streaming show called “I Am Georgina.” The streaming platform has confirmed that there will be a second season where Georgina will speak of the tragic loss which she described as the “worst moment” of her life.
Alvaro Diaz, who is the Director of Netflix Entertainment in Spain, revealed that the Argentinian Spaniard’s show had been commissioned for a second season. In the upcoming season, Georgina and her famous footballer partner’s loss of their infant and its aftermath will be an important area of focus in the series.
Georgina gave a preview of what she would say in the series. It was released to journalists during a Spanish TV and radio film festival. The 28-year old said, “Life has gifted me so much in such a short space of time. This year I’ve experienced the best and worst moment of my life in an instant.”
She added, “A big piece of my heart shattered and I asked myself how I could carry on. I had the answer nearer than I thought. I looked into the eyes of my children and there I saw the only way of doing it, being all together.”
Georgina posted photos of her daughter Bella Esmeralda when she was four months old.
