Celebrity Hailey Bieber opened up in detail about the mini stroke she suffered, last month. She shared pictures as well. The model detailed the entire incident in a 12-minute video. She said the final procedure was closing a hole in her heart and reassured everyone that she is recovering well.
She said that the stroke began with a “weird sensation that traveled down” her arm from her shoulder to he finger tips, which felt numb and weird. Justin had asked her if she was “ok” and she couldn’t respond as she couldn’t speak.
She added that the right side of her face began to droop and she couldn’t speak at all. So, they realized that she was having a stroke and Justin asked someone to call 911 and get a doctor. A medic rushed over and asked her questions.

She said that she was unable to answer them but she got up and walked fine. She mentioned that the facial drooping lasting for 30 seconds or more. She also recalled a funny moment when she was in the ambulance and they called the hospital and explained that they had a “30-year old female” and she was like, “I’m 25.” She joked that she had to make sure that “they weren’t going to age me five years for no reason, you know?”
She said that she had returned pretty much to normal when she reached the emergency room and “scored a 0 on the stroke checklist.” The doctors at the hospital said that she had a TIA (transient ischemic attack) which can also be described as a small clot in her brain.
After she was discharged she went to UCLA for extensive testing. The doctors gave three different reasons that could have caused it: birth control pills without consulting a doctor, COVID-19 and a long flight (to Paris and back) without much movement. They once again tested for a PFO (potent foramen ovale) and this time they found she had a grade 5 one. She got a PFO closure done.
Hailey Bieber said that it was tough to tell this story but she had to as it was already in the public domain. She waited till everything was done and narrated her experience. Her fans and friends sent her much love after she posted her story.
