On Friday, celebrity rapper Lil Keed passed away. He was 24. His brother Lil Gotit confirmed the news. No cause of death was reported. The news was also confirmed by the young rapper’s rep.The Atlanta rapper was known for his work with both rapper Travis Scott and R&B King Chris Brown on his newest album Cleveland 3. He was scheduled to perform on Saturday night, in North Carolina. He was signed to Young Thug’s YSL record label.
In an early morning post, brother LilGotit posted a picture of Lil Keed wearing a plaid shirt. He held a weapon in his arms. He was wearing a gold chain on his neck. Lil Gotit’s heartfelt tribute said that that he couldn’t believe that his brother had died and he would be there for the rest of their family.

Raqhid Jevon Render was born on March 16, 1998. The Atlanta, Georgia native decided to become a rapper at 16, after the death of a close friend. He took the name Lil Keed. He was inspired by Young Thug who was not only a successful rapper but was also a neighbor.
In 2018, he was signed by the YSL label and 300 Entertainment. He released two mix tapes: Trapped on Cleveland 2 and Keed Talk to ‘Em. The next year saw him drop his debut album Long Live Mexico. In 2020, he released Trapped on Cleveland 3. He made it to the XXL 2020 Freshman Class.
Recently Young Thug and Gunna and several others were charged with conspiring to violate the RICO Act by the state of Georgia who said that YSL was a “criminal street gang.” Lil Keed was neither named nor was he arrested as a result of the indictment on YSL artistes. Lil Keed had defended YSL saying that it was not a street gang.
Celebrity rapper Lil Keed leaves behind girlfriend Quana Bandz, who is the mother of their daughter NayChur. She is also pregnant with their second child.
