On Thursday, former President Donald Trump returned to his former favorite social media site that now has a new owner and a new name and posted his mug shot. He had earlier shared the same photo on his own social media platform. He was booked at Fulton County Jail, in the Peach State, earlier that day. Trump has been booked on his fourth criminal case and a booking photo, commonly called a mug shot and his fingerprints were taken at the booking, in a jail in Atlanta.
Trump has been charged along with 18 co-conspirators for attempting to overturn the defeat he faced in the 2020 election in Georgia. All the other co-conspirators have also been booked and processed in an Atlanta jail. Donald Trump was booked as inmate No. PO1135809.

Trump’s campaign site began selling merchandise with his mug shot and it included T-shirts, mugs and drink coolers. The mug shot is being used to raise funds for his 2024 presidential campaign. He remains the front runner among several Republican candidates.
Trump had been banned from the site Twitter now called X after his supporters had attacked Congress. Many social media platforms had banned him and reinstated him years later. When the world’s richest man Elon Musk bought Twitter, Trump was reinstated on the platform. Musk had said that he is “free speech absolutist.”
Trump had used Twitter and other social media platforms to proclaim his narrative that voter fraud was the reason why he was defeated in the 2020 presidential elections. When his supporters violently stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021, he was removed from several social media platforms including Twitter.
Earlier on Wednesday, Donald Trump did not appear on a Republican primary debate that was aired on Fox News. Instead, he appeared in an interview on X with conservative commentator Tucker Carlson, who was formerly with the Fox network.
