The nondescript warehouse in Reedley, California, which has just over 25,000 residents, was searched by local and federal authorities, who found a lab of horrors with possible connections to China. A city code official discovered this dubious biotech company with connections to China had set up this warehouse, stocking it with industrial freezers and hundreds of viral vials, when an errant hose hanging out of the back of the warehouse last spring, March 2022.

Investigators discovered 1,000 dead, dying, and diseased mice in addition to vials of bacteria that cause diseases like Covid-19, tuberculosis, HIV, herpes, and dengue fever.

Photos depict frozen freezers stocked to the gills with unidentified origin bottles of blood and plasma, as well as dead mice stuffed in storage containers that have been hurriedly shoved on shelves. According to government investigators, Covid diagnostic and pregnancy tests were also discovered in this underground warehouse.

Upon further investigation by the authorities, it was found that Prestige Biotech, which president Xiuquin Yao claimed was a successor to the now-defunct corporation Universal Meditech Inc., which ran the laboratory without a California business license. However, authorities sent to locations connected to the companies showed up at vacant office buildings or unverifiable addresses in China.
