Watch: Celebrity Jennifer Lopez announces new album drop in nine years, ‘This Is Me…Now’

A few days ago, Jennifer Lopez’ social media went black. Fans were thrilled as this is what happens when a celebrity is going to make a new announcement. Days later, fans were delighted when she posted that she would be dropping a new album This Is Me…Now. The new album comes after a hiatus of nine years. In the meantime, JLo has dropped a song, acted in movies and continued to build her business empire, JLo Beauty. She also got married to Ben Affleck, in 2022.

On November 23, JLo’s social media went black, building up anticipation among her fans and followers. A couple of days later she dropped a small video which started with an image of her recreated from her album This is Me…Then. The celebrity posed wearing a pink blouse and a matching pink beanie.

Then the video clip transformed to show a modern day JLo, who discarded her pink clothes and beanie for a much edgier outfit that consisted of a white crop top, with a leather jacket.

She sang: “This was me then, this is me now.”

This is Me…Then by the celebrity singer was dedicated to Ben Affleck. It appears as if This is Me…Now will also be dedicated to celebrity Ben Affleck who is now her husband. There is one song, for sure that is in his honor as it is called Dear Ben Pt. II.

On November 25, 2002 Jennifer Lopez had dropped her third studio album, This Is Me… Then. Two decades later she has announced that she will be dropped her ninth studio album, on the same day…November 25, 2022 with a play on the title as her new album, to be released some time next year, is called This Is Me…Now.
