A man has been seen urinating on a grave regularly by a duo who reported the incident after they also found bags of poop on their mother’s grave. The children of the lady buried installed a hidden camera with the help of the police shockingly caught the man pulling up in his SUV, getting out, and walking up to her grave while the vehicle was still running.
The man then proceeds to discharge himself while fully oblivious to the fact that everything he does is being recorded on camera. The scene was witnessed by the frightened children of his ex-wife whom he divorced 48 years ago. Additionally, it seems the man would travel to the cemetery each morning at first light to urinate in front of his current wife on Linda Torello’s grave.
Michael Andrew Murphy said that he felt like killing the man who had been desecrating the burial site of Torello, his mother. Torello, at 66, passed away from cancer in 2017 and was laid to rest in the Tappan Reformed Church cemetery in Orangetown, New York, close across the border. When Murphy and his sister first spotted a plastic bag of dog waste near their mother’s grave in April, they assumed a dog walker had made a mistake.
When Murphy and his sister first spotted a plastic bag of dog waste near their mother’s grave in April, they assumed a dog walker had made a mistake.
Then it happened once more. The camera they used to cover the incident captured the act but was too hazy to show authorities. The grave visitor was identified after they reviewed the security camera footage: a man who had a brief marriage to Torello in the 1970s. Murphy said the reel and pictures they got indicated that the man drove to the cemetery almost every morning between 6:14 a.m. and 6:18 a.m. with his current wife, got out of the car, walked to Torello’s grave and peed on it.
The “pissy man” had abandoned Murphy’s mother when she was expecting his sister, and said that he never had anything to do with his “biological daughter,” except on one occasion when he had met her accidentally and cursed her. He also told her that he wished she were dead. He said that he could have been peeing for years, but they could find him because of the feces.
There were no specific threats of physical assault, according to the Orangetown, New York police, thus there was nothing they could do.
