Chinese Canadian pop artist Kris Wu who started in “XXX: Return of Xander Cage” accused of rape, given a 13-year prison term by a Beijing court.

Kris Wu, a Chinese Canadian pop artist accused of rape, was given a 13-year prison term by a Beijing court.Following a slew of sexual harassment claims made by online celebrities and young girls, the rapper and performer was arrested and charged by Chinese authorities in July 2021.

With 60 million followers on China’s Twitter-like Sina Weibo platform, Li Yifeng, better known as Evan Li, is a household figure and incredibly well-liked country. Since 2007, when he took part in a national TV talent competition, he has become well-known. He has since made numerous TV appearances and dramas before transitioning into acting. He starred in The Pioneer, a historical biopic about the Communist Party of China, last year.

According to the court’s official Weibo account, Wu, also known as Wu Yifan, was found guilty of raping three women in November and December 2020. The crimes took place while the women were “intoxicated and vulnerable,” it continued.

In the 2017 science fiction picture “XXX: Return of Xander Cage,” Wu, 32, makes his Hollywood debut. In the past, he was a part of the K-pop group EXO. Numerous companies, such as Porsche and Bvlgari, have severed all relationships with the singer.

In a statement, Li’s studio claimed that he had “always upheld professional ethics, adhered to the moral standard, and actively shown social responsibility.”

On June 28, 2021, in Beijing, China, an artistic performance called “The Great Journey” honoring the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) is performed on stage by actor Li Yifeng.
