On Tuesday, celebrity rapper Kanye West and white supremacist Nick Fuentes visited former President Donald Trump at his residence at Mar-A-Lago. Celebrity Kanye posted his version of the visit on social media, on Thursday and Friday. Later Trump posted his version of the meeting with them on Truth Social, on Friday evening. However, his former ambassador to Israel criticized Trump for hosting these two polarizing humans at Mar-A-Lago.
David A Friedman, an orthodox Jew who was the former ambassador to Israel under the presidency of Donald Trump, publicly posted on social media, “To my friend Donald Trump, you are better than this.” He added that it was unacceptable to invite “an antisemite like Kanye West and human scum like Nick Fuentes” to his home in Mar-A-Lago.
The former ambassador to Israel continued his post by describing Ye, as he is now called and Fuentes as “bums” and urged Trump to send both of them “to the dustbin of history” as he said that it was where they belonged.
In another post, Friedman said that he had condemned former President Barack Obama for his association with “Louis Farrakhan and Jeremy White” and said that Trump’s association with Ye and Fuentes was “no different.” He added that “Antisemites deserve no quarter among American leaders, right or left.”
On Friday evening, Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social, “Ye, formerly known as Kanye West” had been asking him for advice as he was facing business difficulties. He also said that they discussed politics to a “lesser extent” and that he had told Ye not to run in the 2024 presidential elections and added that “any voters you may have should vote for TRUMP.”

He also said that Ye and he “got along great.” He mentioned that the celebrity rapper had not expressed any “anti-Semitism.” Trump added that he had appreciated “all the nice things” the celebrity rapper said about Trump on Tucker Carlson.”
Trump concluded his post on Truth special by saying, “Why wouldn’t I agree to meet? Also, I don’t know Nick Fuentes.”

Trump had also said that Ye had called him to have dinner at Mar-A-Lago and he “unexpectedly” turned up with three friends of his. Trump said that he was not familiar with Ye’s friends. He added that the Tuesday dinner was quick and uneventful and that there were “many members present on the back patio.” He said that Ye and his friends left for the airport, after the dinner.
