King Charles III honored his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, on Mother’s Day. The sweet tribute included a photo of both of them and a text message. The palace also posted a picture of Princess Kate with her three children. In the recent past, King Charles underwent a procedure for prostrate enlargement and also shared the news that he was being treated for unspecified cancer. Princess Kate also underwent an abdominal surgery, following which Prince William took time off to look after his family.
The official royal family social media posted a black-and-white photo of King Charles kissing his mother, Queen Elizabeth’s hand. This photo was taken during a polo match 1985, in which her son had participated.
The photo’s caption is, “Wishing all Mothers and those who are missing their Mums today a peaceful Mothering Sunday.” He added a pink flower emoji.
The official social media account of Kensington Royal also posted a Mother’s Day message from the account of The Prince and Princess of Wales.
In the photo, Princess Kate has her arms around Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte while Prince George puts his arms around his mother. All of them are smiling as they look into the camera.
The text read, “Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months.
Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day. C”
There is an image of a camera at the end of the post, followed by the text “The Prince of Wales, 2024.”
The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, had been admitted to a London clinic on January 16 for an abdominal surgery. Unlike King Charles, she did not wish to share details.
Earlier, Kensington Palace said that her surgery was not cancer-related and that Princess Catherine wanted her personal medical information to remain private.
