The social media makeup artist influencer with over 1 million followers Maja Janeska found dead. EFF leader Julius Malema has expressed shock over the passing of Maja Janeska, a friend and well-known cosmetics artist, who is believed to have committed suicide last week.

Kyle Phillips, a tobacco tycoon, and Malema’s acquaintance, and Janeska had a romantic history. “There was nothing that suggested there were insurmountable problems that would warrant killing yourself. I don’t think there was any sign of that sort. It was a shock,” he said.

Police told News24 that they had opened an inquest docket in relation to Janeska’s death, which means, at this stage, that it is not being treated as suspicious by law enforcement.

Police are stating that the death is  not being treated as suspicious at the present time. Friends and family are certain that she would not commit suicide. According to police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo, “Police received a call about a person who allegedly killed herself in Bassonia Estate. Upon arriving at the address given, police found a woman in the bedroom with a gunshot wound to the head and a firearm next to her. The woman was recognized dead by the paramedics.” Fans are sad regarding the news given of her tragic dead.
