The young music icon dropped a teaser of the upcoming New Year event and it will be ‘legendary.’ The celebrity singer said that she will be ringing in the New Year with another legend, her grandmother music icon Dolly Parton.
Miley Cyrus dropped a promo video on social media with godmother Dolly Parton. In the promo on Instagram, Cyrus introduces the upcoming New Year’s Eve party (2022-2023) with the popular song Jolene in the background.
The 29-year old singer said that “Miley’s New Year Eve Party” would be about “getting glamorous and dressing your best.”
The 76-year old iconic singer questioned her goddaughter that they did that every day, didn’t they?
Miley replies “You taught me well.”
In the same video, Dolly Parton also says, “It’s going to be legendary.”
Cyrus answers, “She would know.”
The caption on the video gives additional details including the time and date at 10.30 p.m. ET on 12/31 on NBC and Peacock TV.
In 2021, the celebrity singer launched her first New Year’ Eve party on NBC with co-host celebrity star of SNL Pete Davidson. Their news release said that it was a big hit.
This year Miley is including Dolly Parton as co-host and viewers and partygoers will get two extremely talented singers at the same event in Miami, which promises to be a treat for music lovers, with a lot of glam and glitz.
