Celebrity Kanye West has been stoking controversy with his anti-semitic rants and this has been continuing in interviews after he was banned once again from social media for his comments against the Jewish community. Last week he spewed similar sentiments in an interview with InfoWars’ a far-right show by the conspiracy theory founder Alex Jones and this week he appeared in an interview with Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes where he said that Jews needed to “forgive Hitler.”
On Tuesday, Censored.TV, an alt-right website posted an interview of rapper Ye, as he is now known, with Gavin McInnes, the founder of Proud Boys. The interview was titled “Saving Ye.” It was moderated by Nick Fuentes, who is a far-right person, a Holocaust denier and a friend of the Yeezy founder.
According to Rolling Stone, Kanye said that Jewish people couldn’t tell him who he could love and who he couldn’t love. He also said that they couldn’t force their pain on everyone else.
Ye added, “Jewish people—forgive Hitler today. Let it go. Let it go. Stop trying to force it on other people.”
Ye also spoke about various other issues in his conversation with the Proud Boys founder. He said that Candace Owens would be a good presidential mate as Ye has already announced that he would be running for president in 2024. He added that conservative commentator Ben Shapiro “controlled” her.
Kanye also said that America was a “Christian country.” If he became the president, he said that he would realign and they would “align the Constitution with the Bible.”
He also told the Proud Boys founder that he felt freer after so many things were taken away from him. Kanye West has been canceled by friends and major business partners after he started commenting on the Jewish community and has reportedly lost billions. However Kanye West told Gavin McInnes, the Proud Boys founder, “I am far happier, and you know, I’m just in love with life.”
Kanye West’s anti-semitic comments continued throughout the interview. Ye also said, “They can control the narrative. History is written by the winners.”
