His Majesty King Charles III and the Princess Royal attended a church service on January 29, near their country estate in Norfolk They attended a Sunday service at the St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham. The King has been spending a lot of time in his Norfolk estate. The royal family celebrated Christmas and New Year at Sandringham, the first one since he became the monarch. Late Queen Elizabeth II was also very fond of their Norfolk estate and spent a lot of her time at Sandringham.
Members of the public were excited to see the royal siblings together. They lined the path that King Charles III and Princess Royal Anne walked on. They took pictures and some of them also offered flowers to the Royal siblings.
The 74-year-old monarch had also begun the New Year along with Queen Camilla with a church service in Sandringham at the same church–St. Mary Magdalene Church. This was a beloved annual tradition that had been introduced by Queen Elizabeth II.
The King and Queen had met both the Bishop of Norwich as well as the Reverend Canon. The royal couple also spent time greeting the people who were waiting to see them and taking photos. The King stopped speaking to some of the people who had gathered near the church. The royal family had also attended services at the same church for Christmas, as they celebrated Christmas at the estate.

In 2017, King Charles took over the running of the Sandringham estate from his late father, Prince Philip. The 20,000-acre estate is known for its landscaped gardens. However, the king is transforming it according to his ecological values. The perfect lawns are expected to make way for a “climate-friendly” garden with plants that offer larger benefits to the environment.
